Chitra Bahadur Thapa
It has given me immense pleasure to be a part of our school, the School Of Scholars (SOS). I am very fortunate to work with dedicated, innovative, and far-sighted board members who always ponder new insights. I am even overwhelmed by the striving and caring staff members: I find each day an adventure filled with new experiences and a chance to constantly learn to widen our horizons. The dream of the people of Siraha and Saptari district in sending their children to such a school where they can get the education that is being offered by the schools in Kathmandu and Biratnagar has come into its existence in Lahan, the heart of Siraha and Saptari. We recognize that our ways of teaching ‘work together and learn together will support students enabling them to achieve their potential. Expectations of our parents and students are very high. They have great trust in us. We firmly believe that every boy and girl can get an innovative platform through various far-fetched visions endorsed by our school. They can experience and go on to graduate as a responsible, resilient, and confident young adult, well-prepared to take charge of their future and become productive members of the community. Addressing the future needs of the students, our school has set up a well-sophisticated library, maths lab, science lab, music lab, etc. believing that they will learn practically and mentally to prepare themselves to be able to face challenges in the future. So, our curriculum and practices are consistently reviewed and revived to ensure that we are following the most updated practices adopted by advanced schools in Nepal and the world. SOS offers its students many opportunities to explore their interests and investigate new ideas. Our ways of teaching will be based on research types. Our list of clubs, groups, activities, and other extracurricular offerings is broadened each month will new visions and missions hoping to have something different that interests every student. We always encourage them to take part in all types of internal and external events giving them enough guidance and practice before being exposed to the competitions. We always expect creative suggestions, concrete solutions, and helping hands aiming that these help to gear up our acceleration in setting up our educational goals with a strong motto: “Learners Today……..Leaders Tomorrow”. Academic Principal “leaders are made, they are not born. They are made by hard effort, which is the price which all of us must pay to achieve any goal that is worthwhile”. - Vince Lombardi
