About SOS
After two years of research and discussions with various stakeholders about improving the quality of education to meet current demands, the management team concluded that schools in Lahan are not equipped to provide the necessary education. Consequently, SOS was established to fulfill the community’s need for this type of education.
SOS believes its “Work together and learn together” approach empowers students to reach their full potential. Both parents and students hold high expectations for us and trust our methods. We are confident that every student can benefit from our innovative platforms and transformative visions. Our goal is for them to graduate as responsible, resilient, and self-assured young adults, ready to shape their futures and contribute positively to their community and country.
To meet the evolving needs of our students, we have established advanced facilities like a sophisticated library, advanced mathematical lab, science lab, music lab, IT lab, and classrooms with ample space. Additionally, there are separate playgrounds for junior and senior students. For the younger, pre-primary classes (Montessori), there’s a Zumba Hall equipped with various engaging play items. Transportation is facilitated through school buses and vans. These resources are designed to offer practical and mental learning experiences, preparing students to tackle future challenges. We continuously update our curriculum and practices to align with the latest educational standards observed by leading schools in Nepal and around the globe. Within just a year, the school has successfully enrolled nearly 900 students, a source of great pride for us. Our future goal is to introduce postgraduate classes, which we fondly refer to as the “PG to PG” concept that we plan to implement.
Furthermore, SOS strives to foster its students’ growth by instilling them with rituals, cultural values, social norms, and other aspects of education. It’s believed that these practices contribute to the well-rounded development of students. School Of Scholars (SOS) was founded in Lahan City to deliver authentic 21st Century Education. The institution was established by a dedicated team comprising college lecturers, bankers, doctors, engineers, and social activists.

What I strongly believe in is that the role of a school is not only to pursue the academic excellence but also to motivate and empower the students to be life-long learners, creative thinkers and productive members of the society, community as well as the nation. Converting every individual into a self-reliant and independent citizen, our school provides an innovative platform along with a far-fetched vision and mission.
The world today is changing at such an enormous speed and we educators need to pause and reflect on this entire system of education. To motivate the late bloomers, to mold the mediocre and to challenge the gifted is the real teaching notion. Providing good quality, modern education including a strong component of cultural values, environment awareness and physical education to needy children is the prime motto of SOS. A committed and productive Board member, result oriented and a well visioned principal with hardworking prospectus, dedicated teachers and caring and co-operative parents blend harmoniously to create our school as a student-centric school.
I am quite sure that the positive attitude, hard work, sustained efforts and innovative ideas exhibited by our students, teachers and different members will surely stir the mind of the parents and community people. Success comes to those who work hard and stays with those who don’t take rest on the laurels of the past.
